At Spiritwood Dental Clinic, we recommend that you have a full checkup every 6 months. This checkup includes a thorough examination of your mouth and, depending on your situation, may include X-rays.
Cleanings
We also recommend that you brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day to keep your teeth clean and healthy. If you have any questions about how to properly care for your teeth, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
Sealants
Sealants are a great way to keep your teeth healthy and protect them from cavities. They provide a thin coating that is painted on the surface of your teeth, particularly the bumpy molars at the back of your mouth. This coating acts as a barrier to keep out bacteria and food particles that cause decay. Sealants can last up to 5 years, so they are an effective preventative measure.
